Just how powerful is art? If it were not for art we would not have the culture we have, we would not have the sense of history we have, we would not have the understanding of the world in general that we have, we would not have the understanding of ourselves as flawed, limited and extremely interesting human beings. All of that is given to us by artist contributions and without that, we would be nothing more than animals. That is why we humans made art and it is art that made us human.
