| | Currently I am working on large and small colorful semi-abstractions, (including diptychs and triptychs) mixing images of windows, love, trees and other elements of the natural and magical worlds.
I am also working on a series of paintings of abstracted Angel Wings (check out my Angel Wings Gallery). I have always been interested in “what cannot be readily seen” and my hope is that my paintings catch the essence of being and some of the magic of creation, some of the splendor and energetic intelligence of the universe.
I like to think of the physical layering and removing or “scratching through” of paint as a metaphor for the cycles of laying down new, covering over, and breaking through, or transformation. It is my intention to offer my work as a joyous expression of creation and perhaps an alternative approach in viewing our world. Thank you - Marjorie Crawford
