February 5 – 23, 2009, Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History, Co-Curator
Technology and design in Santa Cruz is spotlighted through the
bicycle. In partnership with the Santa Cruz Design + Innovation Center, a
mini-retrospective of the bicycle celebrates the city’s participation
in the Amgen Tour of California. A glimpse into the past and cultural
usage is juxtaposed with video and digital media displays of current
designs including the work of Jim Gentes and Giro.
