It took forever to finish this pencil drawing. Of course I had a few breaks of several months while working on it. However, I finished it the last day before the entry time was up for the latest "Time, Life and Space" on line exhibit. Several people who have seen it have commented on memories of having similar mailboxes in childhood when living on a farm of just in the country. One friend even knew exactly where this picture was taken from. Ramona, Ca still has a number of them along the main road into Ramona. However, they are truly becoming a thing of the past.
