December, 2011: "Just Jackson!", a Jackson Pollack inspired show at The Center, 946 N Mills Ave, Orlando. Second and third paintings since college will be exhibited: "NOISE" and "Benediction."
October, 2011: "All Hallow's Eve" at The Center with Halloween based works.
September, 2011: In observance of the tenth anniversary of the attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, The Center hosts a juried show with an Americana theme. "...One nation, indivisible..." placed third by judges' vote but won Peoples' Choice by Opening Night guests.
August, 2011 : TRASH, a two-man show with fellow artist Parker Sketch at The Center, 946 N Mills Ave, Orlando. Look for completely new works of functional art and furniture... and other surprises. 20% of all sales benefit The Center. Five sales; some remaining works heading to St Augustine.
June, 2011: "A Rainbow Connection" at The Center, 946 N Mills Ave, Orlando, in conjunction with the local Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
May 9, 2011 : Benefit silent art auction for Haven of Hope, an Orlando HIV/AIDS resource organization. Mr Sisters, E Colonial Dr, Orlando.
December 1, 2010: The Center, 946 N Mills Ave, hosts A Day Without Art sponsored by FL QUACK and will exhibit 5 panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt in observance of World AIDS Day. There will also be a silent auction of celebrity autographed items. Admission is free and is open to the public.
December, 2010: "Glisten" at The Center, 946 N Mills Ave, Orlando. NOTE: This show will not have an Opening Reception, but will be open during regular hours at The Center.
November 19, 2010: Jingle Eve in in Ivanhoe Village/"Antique Row" in Orlando. The newly rebranded "Repurposing" approach makes its first small appearance via warped fruit bowls and ceiling fan chain pulls.
October 1, 2010: First Friday Art Stroll of Ivanhoe Village on Virginia Ave in Orlando. Functional thrown pottery will make its local debut.
September, 2010: A few new pieces... none mannequins... will be included in a juried show entitled "Hip 2 B Square" at The Center, 946 N Mills, Orlando, with one major stipulation: everything must he hangable and 12x12". Opening Reception is Sept 4, 7-9 (or so).

July 3, 2010 : Solo exhibit on the Tastings Wine Bar patio, 7-11pm. Two pieces will make their debut ("Sweetie" and "Lucille") amongst a few others from the "manic Kin" series. I am the first in the lineup of artists in different media/types for the series. 111 E Magnolia @ Washington, downtown Orlando.
June, 2010: "Come Out, Come Out... Wherever You Are!" at The Center, 946 N Mills Ave, Orlando. Interestingly, 3 new non-mannequin pieces will debut... a multi-layered paper Portrait of the Artist, assembled Scrabble board and a digital photo.
May, 2010: Orlando Fringe Festival "Visual Fringe." Amadeus and Red are showing and available for purchase. Amadeus is a male trunk mannequin covered with sheet music; it is also a practical lamp. Red is a male torso mannequin covered with colored comic strip panels.
May 4, 2010: Opening Reception for the Osceola Center for the Arts Spring Juried Show, 6-8 pm, at the OCFTA in Kissimmee/St Cloud. "Thomas" has been re-styled with a chandelier and accepted for the show. Ribbons and cash awards presented in various categories along with "Best of Show."
March 26, 2010: The Center for Multicultural Wellness and Prevention, Inc. is teaming up with Florida QUACK at The Center, 946 N Mills Ave, Orlando, for a silent benefit art auction to raise funds to support relocation of victims of the earthquakes in Haiti. (Note: The event raised $1700.)
January 8, 2010: Opening Reception for "Prima Materia" at Creative Spirit Art Gallery, 820A Lake Baldwin Lane, Orlando. This show was limited to sculpture featuring Florida's most accomplished artists. Two clay masks were on exhibit; "Dorothy's Daughter" was sold that evening.
December 1, 2009: In conjunction with "Wonderment" (see below), the Gallery presents "A Day Without Art." ALL art in the Gallery will be shrouded in black fabric for the day in memory of and in honor of artists worldwide lost to and living with complications of HIV/AIDS. A memorial vigil candle will be available for visitors to light a candle for friends and loved ones. The Gallery will be open for regular viewing the following day.
December 5, 2009: "Wonderment" Opening Reception at The Center, 946 N Mills Ave, Orlando, also presents an Art and Gift Fair in addition to the typical art offerings. This is an opportunity to purchase gifts and original art with holiday shopping budgets in mind. 7-9 pm; Gallery open during regular operating hours at The Center.
November, 2009: The Orlando Museum of Art's First Thursday event "Interiors/Exteriors" showcases art as home design elements. "Amadeus" and the newly-created "Ice Goddess" were featured as bedside lamps.
November, 2009: Creative Spirit Gallery, Orlando, hosts Keith Theriot and myself for a month-long exhibition. Keith is well-known and respected in the arts community and it is an honor to be showing with him. A total of 15 pieces... some freestanding, some on pedestals, others hanging on a wall... were paired with Keith's painting to present a colorful figural art exhibition.
November 21, 2009: The Orlando Artists League has asked me to do a demo presentation on how the mannequins are individually produced and different techniques used.
July, 2009: "Bacchanalia" at The Center, 946 North Mills Ave, Orlando. Dominatrix-styled "Mistress Tiffany" (so named for skin made from +/- 3900 1-cent stamps with Tiffany stained glass lampshades) took Honorable Mention.
June, 2009: "Manic Kin (it's not your parents' family reunion!)" at The Center, 946 N Mills Ave, Orlando. This solo show features 30 pieces, some specially created for this event, including the new "Family Portraits" Collection. Opening Reception Saturday evening, June 13, 6-9pm. 10% of all sales benefit the Hope and Help Center of Central Florida.

Opening Reception December 5, 7-9pm, with cash prizes and awards presented during the evening. A reclaimed male torso golf mannequin has found new life as a lamp for this show; "Thomas."
May 5-31, 2008: 2008 Osceola Center for the Arts Juried Show, 2411 E. Irlo Bronson Hwy, Kissimmee, Florida. "Lola" and "Esther" have been accepted for entry. Opening Reception will be Tuesday, 6 May, 6-8 pm. Prizes will be awarded in different media categories plus Best of Show.
April 1- 29, 2008: "Bacchanalia" at The Center, downtown Orlando. My entry is the yet un-photographed "Kwan" (three bottles later), sporting a yellow feather boa and lampshade on her head... hence the "three bottles later" reference. This juried show has its Opening Reception April 4, 7-9 pm; awards and prizes to be announced during the evening.
March 28, 2008: Glamour Girl Fashion theme night for a one-night show at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in beautiful downtown Orlando. This will feature a number of "ladies" on pedestals plus a couple new surprises.

August 21, 2007: Gallery at Metro, Orlando presents the "little.blue.box.miniature.art.contest" as a fundraiser. Limited to 25 artists, we were each given a 3x3" canvas to use with any medium. Bids start at $25 for this event. Winners and presentation will be on 21 August. Top prize is $250/$100/$50.
August 18, 2007: Art-o-Mat will be celebrating their 10th Anniversary in Winston-Salem, NC. The public is invited to meet the artists and purchase art from them. There will also be a swap meet of sorts for the artists to have an opportunity to see works by other participating artists, both current and past. See www.artomat.org for further information.
