Ornella is an artist who has been living and working in her home studio in Tasmania for the past eleven years. Ornella's artistic style is an evolving process driven by passion and inspired by life. She has studied art at Southern Cross University and University of Southern Queensland and cites her principal influences as Klimt, Picasso and Frida Khalo. Ornella's paintings co-ordinate texture colour and pattern. They are designs that reflect the real world whilst uplifting the spirit with their vibrancy and ethereal aura.
Ornella has exhibited and sold many works in collaberative exhibitions and galleries while also completeing several commissioned pieces. She is fervantly working towards her first solo exhibition to be held at the Inka Gallery in Hobart from 21Jan - 11Feb 2009.
