Linda Hunter has 35 years of visual art teaching experience in the Nauset Public School system on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She was the head of the Fine and Applied Arts Department at Nauset Regional High School, a MassInsight Vanguard Award winning school. As an art educator, Linda taught classes in sculpture, ceramics, photography, printmaking, drawing and design, and studio art classes covering a variety of art media and techniques. As an artist, she specializes in acrylic and watercolor painting, printmaking, and mixed media work. In churches, Linda has led workshops and discussions for adults on various themes including "Signs and Symbols in Art and Life", "Imaging God", and "Creating Art Book/Journals" as part of a Lenten or Advent journey.
Barbara Hersey graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Illustration. The daughter of an Episcopal priest, she grew up participating in all areas of worship, education and liturgy. She was Christian Ed. Coordinator and Godly Play Accredited Teacher at Saint Mary's Church, Barnstable MA, for over 7 years. Barbara was involved in all areas of christian education as well as leading many Christmas pageants. She loves working with children on creative projects and through music. She also led workshops including "The Stations of the Cross: Responding in Art and Writing" and a long term banner making project on Creation with her church school students. Barbara continues her own artwork and murals for public and private clients. Barbara shares her love of the sea and sailing with her husband and children on Cape Cod.
