I am a self taught figurative painter and mainly paint in acrylic on canvas or board, the work  ranges from satirical caricature to more realistic portraits, In the coming years i hope to paint a series of paintings depicting aspects of British life from social, political or any other situation that deserves examination.I feel it is important to explore the darker sides of human behaviour even if the paintings themselves are difficult to live with. Artist's i admire are Hogarth, Stanley Spencer, Bosh, Otto Dix, Cranack, there are many more but that should give you an idea of were i'm coming from.
