| I recently moved from Fort Collins, Colorado to Beaverton, Oregon.
While I have enjoyed drawing and painting for most of my life, I am relatively new to the world of professional art. I have also donated several pieces to charity auctions, to such organizations as the Colorado State University Wildlife Society, the Humane Society of Boulder Valley and the Boulder-Jalapa Friendship City Project.
I am inspired by the human face and the challenge of capturing a true likeness of my subject. I strive for a contemporary, realistic style that plays up color, light and contrast. I enjoy painting portraits that place the subject in an interesting, more candid and less traditional pose.
