Here is a mix of some of my favorite portraits.
Many are in oil, but you'll see that I also enjoy using watercolor paint and drawing media such as charcoal, conte crayons and oil pastel.
I love to balance light and dark to illuminate the subject, while playing up subtle textures and colors.
My paintings are usually at (or slightly larger than) life size.
