In a way it has become my best friend and does not limit me with restrictions and conformity's. I am self taught, but am always looking for new ideas from travel, literature and daily experiences. I love the idea of taking something old and renovating it into an attractive piece. I am a mosaic and mural artist. When I get tired of doing mosaics, I switch to painting on walls, floors, doors and furniture. I also love to create decorative finishes onto surfaces by either antiquing, marbleizing, color washing or plastering. Sometimes I combine different mediums into one project for added texture and aesthetics. I also enjoy painting cocktail glasses with whimsical designs and characters. And I have recently bought a kiln for firing my hand built pottery creations.
