| Venus paints because she loves to paint, not treating it as a job or a business. However, in spite of that lax attitude, she has won a Starbuck's Paint the Tumbler contest. The tumbler was sold by Starbucks for awhile.
She has also illustrated book covers, drawn illustrations for the inside of books, vitamin bottle labels, card decks, post cards and won a few painting contests and awards. She is also part of the local Art Studios Tour every year in her town and a number of people have her paintings in their homes. People who own Venus's paintings say the art makes them feel happy and they love to be around it. |
