| ART IS MUSIC FOR MY SOUL
Art is a continuous journey for me to explore and express myself. I hope you will enjoy the images as much as I did while creating them.
I began painting after I retired in 1999. I had no formal art training but was fortunate to study with some very fine local artists and continue to do so. I started with oils and a couple of years later discovered watercolor. My newest love is pastel. I enjoy a variety of subjects as you will see on the gallery. Many of my paintings were born from photographs taken while traveling worldwide; however, living in the beautiful San Diego area is a perfect inspiration.
My work has been featured in the International Hotel/Motel and Restaurant Exhibit at the Jacob Javitz Center in New York City and at the Art Expo in New York in 2008. | MOVING ON UP TO THE WESTSIDE!!!!
It is September and we just moved from our 4,000 sq. ft. home in Escondido to a 1800 sq. ft. condo in Oceanside. As you can imagine, it has been a real challenge to downsize and there isn't enough wall space sooooo, take a look at the galleries and let's make a deal--I need to clear my inventory so I can start to paint again.
