Brandy is a self-taught, natural artist. She has been ‘doing art’ since she was able to hold a pencil or crayon. Brandy’s preferred subject has always been animals, wild or not and her love of the animal kingdom gives Brandy an appreciation for all types of furry friends. Brandy’s love of nature gives her a lot of material for artwork. The spectacular clouds and stormy skies of the desert landscape and Rocky Mountains, and now the special things that make up southern states are great sources for art of any kind.
Brandy learned from art classes taken in high school but had no further formal training. She learned more from watching wildlife, observing birds and flowers and other critters, including pets, in natural surroundings. The exception was the one teacher that taught Brandy shading, shadows and to not be ‘afraid of the dark’.
She has always done her best artwork with a pencil or charcoal which allows Brandy to achieve a lot of detail in simple black and white. Brandy’s watercolor paintings are... |
| Getting A Round Tuit
I have spent a great deal of time today on Zhibit updating my everything and adding friends. It is almost a full time job trying to keep up with all the different sites that I have my art listed with. I figure if I get my name out there enough then some might actually sell. |
