| Images in a series, or standing alone, provide a link of communication between us. But more important to me is that they allow the individual to connect a place within themselves to that moment in time, or specific color resonance, or sweep of motion captured through the photographic process.
My work derives from an interdisciplinary approach to arts. Music, dance, building living sculptures, presentation of images, creating a meal, washing a cup - all moments and activities can lead to contemplation. In this they fulfill themselves and allow creation to bloom.
Please contact me with any questions or comments on my work. You may also visit my website at http://www.brucehaedt.com for more information on my composed and improvised music, or to link to ongoing writings at "Raininghorse". Thank you. - Bruce

| | small town, deep spring everything really is connected. my culture-addled brain wants me to forget this, keep me standing in the field alone, but my body will always remind me. my heart will break, my bones will ache, my breath will some small gasping make. | | dayframe continuity has its own justice, or lack of continuity has its own justice, or renewal of continuity has its own justice. mercy is the space between the rows of corn. jam is zarathustra speaking to fruit. | | rings of saturn just guessing, but the pace of change, difficult moments strung together to teach each of us our own needed lesson, is in high gear right now. so much suffering, so much beauty, and reams of information about how to detach, trust the process, give generously. |
