Bio
Christina Loraine, b. 1981, is originally from rural west-central Illinois. She never knew exactly what she wanted to be when she grew up and ended up taking the Long Road. At age 17 she joined the Army National Guard, went on to study Philosophy at Western Illinois University, and later relocated to Atlanta in 2002. Before she knew it she was looking back on another chapter in her life, five years as an accomplished Executive Recruiter. In 2006 she began focusing on her first love, art. The following year she began exhibiting her work in galleries in Atlanta. During this time she also met her husband and in 2009 became mother to son, Holden. In 2010 her husband's job brought the family of three to the Chicagoland area where she works from her home studio.

Each pair will create a written work(s) and visual work(s) which will be published in an anthology. | | Exhibit at the Kankakee Public Library My work is currently on display at the Kankakee Public Library .
