| My approach to art is very personal but at the same time casual and whimsical. The style and the paintings themselves are inspired by my surroundings, both natural and manmade. Sometimes magic happens and all the efforts of combining water with pigment flow into a wonderful creation called a painting. I place great value on that magic combination of originality and creativity. When I deem the painting finished, it is art of my making , it came from my head and my hand. All mine. It exists only on that one piece of paper and only because of my effort. Sometime I refer to my technique as "painting out of my mind" .
Just as my art is important to me so is the framing. All the framed pieces for sale on this site have been carefully and individually framed by professional framers at Stanhope's Art, Framing &Stationery in Texarkana, Arkansas. No one frame fits all. All materials used for mounting and matting are archival quality. The Glass is UV protective.

| Mid Summer Art Show 2011 Time to start thinking about the new show for Little River County. New chairmen need to be in place and fund raisers need to be in the works. The LRAC ( Little River Arts Council ) is going to try a dual program schedule of sorts. We have been meeting in the afternoons but that doesn't allow persons that work an opportunity to take part in our programs. This coming year we shall try a schedule that includes evening programs that will hopefully attract more members to our group. We shall see. | | New Year , new art work Resolutions for the new year. | | Little River Arts Council Mid-Summer Art Show The show grows and grows.
