About the artist
Erin Conklin
I am Chicago based artist working predominatly in printmedia. I recently finished a series of print collages that were inspired by the global warming crisis and focus on ideas of sustainability, conservation, and global warming awareness. My most recent and current body of work explores gender roles in modernity. I'm interested in incorporating traditional women's craft processes in a fine art context in conjuction with printmaking.
