| VITA Institute for the Arts Lead by nationally and internationally known artists Don Eugene Seastrum, Boris Shoshensky, and Phil Ward the VITA Institute for the Arts will present a series of workshops in Florence and the Tuscan region of Italy in May, 2012. These workshops offer self-motivated painters and photographers, who would like to use Italy as their palette, a highly individualized program of study as part of a small, yet dynamic learning community.
The VITA Institute for the Arts workshops are designed to introduce participants to the rich artistic culture and heritage of Italy, and how those traditions can be emulated and applied to contemporary two dimensional composition concepts providing possible directions for the future.
The workshops will encourage each member to investigate her or his own vision of the world. A goal of the workshops will be to teach techniques and principles that will build towards a ‘novum est’ (something new) unrestricted, but informed, by the past . The workshops... |
