Born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1978, Doron Lion is a self-taught American artist working primarily in oil. Focus of artwork is generally figurative, with an emphasis on American cultural identity. Serious consideration is also given to trappings of the subconscious mind, as well as individual and collective striving for peace and questions of justice and equality within our society.
