| Ellen Benfatti, Ph.D., CRMT is passionate about healing the mind, body, and spirit through the creative process. Ellen teaches individuals how to connect to the true essence of who they are through the creative process. She guides groups of all ages through the process of connecting with who they truly are. Most recently Ellen was asked by one of her adult children if she would paint a piece for his apartment. He specifically asked for something that was "graffiti" style. Ellen immediately began exploring the creative process of Graffiti art. With the help of a beloved colleague Ellen was able to create a beautiful piece based on "The Wave". A Japanese painting by Hokusai. This experience of creating a piece with a partner in a medium she had never worked with birthed a desire to teach a creative process workshop dedicated to color therapy using this technique. This piece was collaborated with Ellen and Raziah Roshan. Ellen and Raziah will be teaching a workshop in June on the creative process using this... |
| Starry Night Van Gogh | | Graffiti Bandits This piece was created inspired by The Great Wave off Kanagawa. Ellie and a loved colleague take you on the visual journey while taking a famous traditional piece of Japanese art and transforming it into a youthful expression of the same emotion. Inspired by the creative expression of Graffiti. They take a cultural expression of art from a completely different culture and generation forward to today's genre and express it through a style that today's youth can admire. |
