My artwork is a range of pieces done for GCSE, BTEC National Diploma and in free time, with a wide range of subjects and mediums including digital art and cake decoration.

| Hi, my names Emma Thompson and i'm a student in North Yorkshire. My passion for art has grown over the past years and believe that a successful future lies within it.
After completing my GCSE in art and design and graphics (2010), i also completed an Extended Diploma in Art and Design, achieving D*D*D* (June 2012). NCFE's went alongside this which i was awarded in Printmaking, Digital Imaging and Illustration.
Although most of my work is coursework based i do alot of painting and photography in my free time. Previously i have attended the Elvington Air Museum to showcase my GCSE Graphics work. I have also been commissioned logo design jobs for the Selby District Jobs Fair - by MP Nigel Adams, and fitness trainer Carl Watson for Selby Fitness. Both of these jobs were given during my ED course, and have been used publicly.

| Water Drop Photography
After my previous water shots i wanted to explore this a bit further. This time i tried to encapsulate type and imagery within water drops. A Canon 500D was used, simply with a tripod to capture the shots, and although tricky to time at first, the end results were very successful. | | 2012 Olympics - Ticket Designs

Getting close to the deadline of my FMP, the majority of my Phantom of the Opera products are complete. I added a new section including these on the site, including prices if they ever went to industry. | | Fairytale Theatre Images
For my FMP, based around theatre, i'm moving onto photography experiments. I chose to create some images based around Annie Leibovitz' work for Disney which included actors in front of photoshopped backgrounds. Here is one example of my Red Riding Hood pieces. | | Paper cut outs with a difference
For my FMP i'm trying out different styles of paper cut outs, heres one where i shone light through the back of a paper cut out, with puppets being held behind to give a spooky glow
