| I am an artist who is open to new ways of exploring expression. I now dabble with digital mediums but keeping the universal conventions close to heart. I utilize an array of techniques with contemporary themes utilizing color, thought, and process.
My work is not of the "Traditional" Native American style nor romanticized images of the American Indian, but of contemporary and realistic contents. I create my images by allowing the paint to have a mind and voice of it's own, landing where it may and going where it wants on the canvas in my mind in the beginning and end. The subject matter and/or inspiration evolves in the middle of the process. This allows my voice, thoughts, inspiration to become one with those of the paint.
Some of my work is inspired by my tribal ties, family, experiences, life, other artists and the world as a whole as it evolves as I perceive it. I focus on a variety of different themes, subjects and causes that I am inspired by and passionate about at the time.
