| I began drawing at an early age and took up painting in the 1980's. I studied whenever possible with professional artists in their workshops and also obtained a Diploma in fine art with a 'distinction' in 2002. "Understanding Art and the History of Art". I work from sketches and sometimes photographs of our area and I spend a lot of time out of doors taking notes.
I choose painting as I enjoy the relaxation and the peacefulness that it brings.
