| Artist- Penny Harncharnvej
Penny was born and raised in Thailand, receiving her Master’s Degree in Fine Art from Silpakorn University in 2003. Soon after that, she worked with the JSL Company of Bangkok as an illustrator, while collaborating with several galleries in Bangkok, helping to organize exhibits of other Thai artists and displaying her own work as well. During her career in Thailand, Penny worked with diverse media such as lithography, wood block printing, clay sculpture, and painting. Since coming to the United States in 2004, Penny has focused on acrylic and oil painting, and more recently has resumed her work in watercolors.
Penny’s current projects include developing a line of high-fashion stationery based on her watercolors. Penny has a distinctly playful character in her work.
