| BIOGRAPHY
From award-winning photographer, cinematographer and motion picture/television director, to cartoonist, caricaturist, and illustrator, Gary English has worked in the visual arts for the past 35 years, and his cartoons and illustrations have appeared in national publications. As a travel writer, he has been able to sketch and gather photographic resources from much of the world.
In the past several years this Nashville-based artist has begun to paint landscapes, portraits, animals, impressionistic works, sports scenes, and portraits in oils and acrylics. His works are shown in several venues in Florida and Tennessee, and found in a number of private collections around the country.

Art can be an item of intrinsic beauty or interest, a purely aesthetic expression.
