Galleries

Oil Paintings (1) Oil paintings (canvases and boards). Contact for prices, information and more samples.

Oil Paintings (2) Oil paintings and studies (paper wood and canvas). Contact for prices, information and more samples.

Mandalas Mandala is an art form native to Indochina. Traditionally mandalas are being destroyed momentarily after their completion in order to show the impermanence of all things. Occasionally they are used as meditation-devices.

Illustrations & Graphic Works This Gallery contains samples from the series of illustrations of Mikhail Bulgakov’s novel “The Master and Margarita”. Click below to see the whole portfolio: http://www.masterandmargarita.eu/en/05media/illustratiesgolc.html There is also an illustration of Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s magical-realist novel “One Hundred Years of Solitude”. In addition I've placed here some of my illustration-like drawings.

Nebulae I find nebulae mesmerizing. Their bright colours, wide-ranging forms, enormous sizes and their distance from us make them fascinating subjects.

Photographs of the Floating World Ukiyo-e, or ‘pictures of the floating world’ is a school of traditional Japanese printmaking. The prints show the transiency of processes (and life). They were a major influence for the Impressionists.

About

Samuel Golc
Samuel Golc was born in 1990 in Wroclaw, Poland. Since 2006 he has been living and studying art in London. After completing basic art education at Immanuel Collage he has begun a BA in Fine Art at London Metropolitan University. His works reflect upon the concepts of Quantum Mechanics and Kabbalah. His paintings are symbolist, often surreal. They posses a distinctive magical-realist style. Through his theory of Hyper Art and Noncommutative Realism Samuel managed to link his practice with contemporary scientific paradigms. Samuel is also a photographer and illustrator.
