| Ever since I can remember, I've been completely enthralled with drawing. I don't say that as hyperbole, either - art is literally the first thing I can remember doing. Even as a child I had a passion for drawing and coloring, and would spend hours chasing our family's uncooperative cat with my sketchbook in hand. 20 years later, and few things have changed (though the cat's a little more tolerant).
In particular, I've always had a certain fascination with character design - the art of creating such real, engaging people out of thin air is something that will intrigue me until the day I die. The challenge of designing a character is one I thoroughly enjoy, along with illustration, concept work, and 2D animation. More specifically I have always had a passion for wildlife and nature, and love to combine creature design into my artwork as well.
