House of Missy Mouse

Artist directory :: House of Missy Mouse

Welcome Lettie Lane. The 18" reproduction Kestner 174 was made by Connie Zink to reflect Lettie Lane's When Her Married Sister Sends Photos of a Little American Girl . Since I had a blonde Daisy, I chose to bring my Lettie to life this way. Happy New Year Lettie!

Lettie Lane

2012 is the 100th anniversary of the Lettie Lane doll house adverstised in The Ladies' Home Journal. This year I start an album just for Lettie.

Daisy Accessories for Lettie Lane's Most Beautiful Doll

Doll Crafters and Costuming  In September 2007, my work was a featured article. Here it is for you to enjoy, too.

Doll Luggage When a fat quarter challenge began in January 2009 with the on-line Bleuette Sewing Club, I fashioned a set of luggage from the fabric since I do not sew doll clothing.

French Fashion The height of French Fashion dolls and their accessories occurred in France between 1850 to 1880. The streets were filled with artisan shops catering to the whims of wealthy patrons seeking fine accessories for these dolls and no expense was spared in their creation. Whatever a person would need, surely a French Fashion doll would require to.

Hitty I fell in love with Hitty after finding an original copy, with color plates, of Hitty Her First Hundred Years. I made several Hitty items over the years and truly enjoyed making them very tiny.

Miniatures for Other Dolls 40 items

Miniature Storybook Trunk Sets 53 items

Marionette Theatres 15 items

Peg Wooden Paper Dolls Miniature versions of the most beautiful paper dolls are created as peg wooden paper dolls that stand freely and can be dressed and displayed beautifully.

Raggedy Ann and Friends 16 items

Tiny Games 5 items

Collector's Gallery Showcase This gallery is a showcase of photos collectors have taken of their dolls with the etrennes they've acquired. If you have one you'd like to share on my website, please contact me as I'd enjoy including it.

About

House of Missy Mouse
From my earliest childhood recollections, I was always fascinated and enthralled by the world of miniatures. It was not until I began collecting dolls in earnest, that I found the accessories I so longed for for my own dolls, would have to be made by myself. This website of galleries is a journey that began in roughly, the year 2000. It all started with wanting a perfect little Becassine doll for my own Bleuette. Within these galleries you will find work that incorporates the skills I've built in miniature doll dressing, wood working, and painting (my first love). The items you see in these galleries happily belong in collectors' homes now, however from time to time I will take a commission or simply make something for myself. My motto is “Making dreams come true! ”, for where there is something you cannot find available through mass markets, I will make for you, in exacting detail and with precision. In the fall of 201l, I began sewing for the 18" reproduction Daisy doll. While my grandmother...
