My work is about capturing the genuine experience of the present moment; the moment between inhaling and exhaling - when something is no longer what it was, and not yet what it will be. I work intuitively to capture the paradox that exists in the simultaneous simplicity and complexity of life. When successful, each piece contains these dualities and is imbued with a life or presence of its own. As a medium, I most often choose printmaking because of its immediacy and the diversity of processes that it offers.

I'm having a month-long solo show this July at the Barnes and Noble on 28th and Pearl in Boulder.
There's an opening reception Tuesday, July 3rd, from 5:30 - 7:00 pm - stop in for great art and great dessert!
