| I was born in South Africa, but have lived in the United States since 1989. I am a professional musician ( French Horn ) with various orchestras in Central and Upstate New York. I also teach horn lessons at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York as well as Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY. During summers you will find me performing with the Glimmerglass Opera in Cooperstown, NY as well as teaching horn at the New York Summer Music Festival in Oneonta, NY. My love for photography began when I was a little girl. I loved watching my dad develop pictures in the dark room. I also went to weddings and functions with him and held the flashlight while he took the photographs. Now I love attending events and taking photographs. My father did photography as a hobby although he was very highly respected as a wedding and events photographer in South Africa.
