| Jane Fleshman is a Bead Artist from La Conner, Washington. She holds a BA from Western Washington University and was a public school educator for 28 years. Beading became a passion after retirement and Jane's award winning Bead Embroidered Jewelry can now be seen in local galleries and in galleries in 6 states.
Living in the Pacific Northwest, Jane finds inspiration in the beauty she sees all around her every day. Her work utilitzes natural elements: stone, shell, wood, feather, as well as vintage pieces: buttons, beads, fabric, costume jewelry. Jane creates one of a kind, ornate bead embroidered cuffs, neckpieces and collars. Her mixed media collages and embellished vessels showcase her distinctive style.
