| The lack of a sense of humor is the greatest stumbling block in creating, understanding and appreciating art, which is not to say art doesn't deal with serious subject matter. It does. Art always embodies multiple meanings. I have sculptures dealing with religion, war and the unfair socialization practices of the multi-billion dollar fashion industry - but peering out from behind all my sculptures - whether they be serious, humorous or provocative - is the grinning Cheshire Cat.
