| Photography just seems to fit well with my passion for travel and interest in humans and their environments.
I studied photography and photojournalism at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and earned a BA in 2005.
For my senior internship, I worked for a Chilean newspaper - The Santiago Times . I served as the staff photographer and photo editor. My photographs have appeared in The Santiago Times , Barrio Chile , Il Manifesto , GoNomad.com and the 2007 and 2008 Fairbanks Visitors Guide and 2008 Fairbanks Winter Guide .
Just recently, I spent a year traveling and teaching English in the southwest province of Yunnan, China.
