| What can I say. I love the pursuit and the capture of time. I tried that time in a bottle thing but didn't have much luck so I decided there has to be a better way. That is when I thought I would give photography a shot. I grew up in South Florida and am still drawn to the beach all these years later. This is reflected in most of the work I have displayed in my galleries. I now reside in North Carolina and am eagerly exploring all of the possibilities that this new environment presents. But, the beaches still call to me.
My first camera was an Argus 35mm that my Dad gave to me as a young man. Many a vacation, birthday and holiday were photographed with that box of a picture taker. You had to do everything manually and the photos were usually pretty good (as long as you set everything correctly). I still have it today and it still works as it did some 30 years ago.
I treated myself to a digital camera back in 2005 while I was living outside of Chicago in the Naperville/Aurora area. In no time... |
