| About the Artist...
Judith Anthony, BA., University of Massachusetts, Boston, studied full time at The Atelier in Minneapolis for three years and has attended numerous classes and workshops around the
country in landscape painting and figure drawing. She exhibits her paintings locally with WARM, in Minnesota centers for the arts, and in local cafes and restaurants. In her oil paintings, whether landscape or figure, Judith strives to portray luminosity and light effects, and is currently working on “Silk and Light”, a series of paintings that explore the effect of light on the human form draped in colored silk.
Judith Anthony was 2005 Artist in Residence at Banfill Locke Center for the Arts in Fridley, Minnesota, where she continues to teach classes in oil painting, realistic drawing, portrait painting, and anatomical figure drawing. She also offers classes at Minnetonka Center for the Arts and with Minneapolis Community Education at Washburn, and offers one- to three-day workshops in landscape... |
