Artist statement: "I will never restrict or confine myself to one style of painting. I will always paint what moves me. I will listen to my heart and soul but I will always remain loyal to my collectors by providing more value than what I am being paid".
. . . . the story
Growing up in southeastern Nigeria Kanayo keenly observed the colors and designs on the Dutch-wax fabrics his father,a textile dealer, imported from Holland and this Kanayo says was his introduction to the magic of colors.
