| I have always been drawn to fibers, threads, yarns, and fabric. Starting with making pot holders when I was eight and progressing on to garment making, knitting and crocheting, embroidery, counted cross stitch, and basket weaving. It was not until I put my first piece of white fabric into the dye pot that I realized my passion is for color. Although I had been surrounding myself with color all my life through various fiber arts, I am only just beginning to realize my connection to color for its own sake. I relate so much to Anne Truitt’s words “I felt myself to be color.”
