Gurdon Woods I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Woods in the last years of his life and he was a tremendous influence on me. In fact, his unyielding commitment to arts and letters inspired me to return to school and pursue the education I had always longed for. Ironically, he never knew how much he inspired me, a fact I find particularly poignant. Sometimes people we briefly meet can profoundly impact our lives....
