About

Kenneth Oscar Pearson
I remember the first time I considered myself an artist was in 2008 when I drew a picture of a Rhinoceros in pencil. I was a freshman in high school and I looked at it and thought, “Damn, that’s not bad”. From then on I have loved to create, and take on new challenging mediums, whether it’s taking it back to crayon on paper, developing expired film shot on antique cameras, or creating something in artistic in ceramics but with more utility like a cup. I love art because that feeling of completing a project is such a good feeling, it’s a part of you but on paper, and visible, it’s a good way to get to know yourself and explore and expand your mind. To me art makes the world easier to live in, it makes it easier on the eyes, ears, and all the senses. Being an artist is one of the few things nobody can take away from you that is what I treasure about art.
