"Mallard Ducks"-Tim J. Kornowski, Age 7
Biography of Artist Tim J. Kornowski:
Tim J. Kornowski has been drawing since the age of 5 and painting in oils since the age of 12. Tim enjoys, as he says, "the art of portraying life on blank canvas or paper." Tim attended Gordon School of Art for 5 years where he learned to paint with oils under his art mentor, Mr. John Gordon ( www.newmasters.com ). Tim spent his childhood drawing pictures of ships, sports-players, animals, and anything else that interested him. In the sixth grade, his classmates would bring sports cards to him to draw pictures of their favorite athletes for a fee of $2.50! Later on, Tim began meticulously copying from the Old Masters; such as: Velazquez, Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Michelangelo. Tim is now creating original work solely, and his main genre at this time is fine-art portraiture. He works from client's photographs and directly from life.

| Donald Trump Drawing My birthday in 2011 is one I will always remember. My daughter was born. Jennifer and I named her Gabriella. My wife makes beautiful kids!
About a month ahead of time, knowing that I am a big fan of Sylvester Stallone, Jennifer bought me the Rocky series. Then my brother with some friends of ours bought me an autographed Sylvester Stallone photo from Rocky IV . Wow, how cool is that for a guy right?
It gets better. Late in 2010, I sent a portrait drawing to Donald Trump in New York with... | | 2010 Kornowski Originals Update Where to begin? 2010 was filled with many great moments! We participated in four art shows in: Fish Creek, Ephraim, and two shows Sturgeon Bay, WI. | | Norman Rockwell: American Imagist Recently, my wife and I were able to visit the Norman Rockwell show at the Paine Art Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin ( www.thepaine.org ). We were floored.
Rockwell was extremely talented at catching a moment in a person's life, and leaving it on canvas for future generations to observe. The detail this man put into his work is easily on par with the works of the Old Masters. | | Aleksander Gierymski Once in a while, one comes across an exceptional painter. I am amazed by the ability of painters like Aleksander Gierymski to observe what they see. Many people see, but they do not observe. | | My Favorite Painting in the World My favorite painting in the world today is not found in the Sistine Chapel or in the Louvre. It was not made in the Italian Renaissance, although great works of art were made during that time. My favorite painting in the world is not of a Biblical nature, as I am a Christian. |
