| I am a semi-retired carpenter/philosopher/artist living in Stanwood Washington. I am over educated, ridiculously well read, curious, driven, but mostly confused. And it is the latter I value most.
Like most artists, I would like to say I've been doing art forever,but that wouldn't be completely true. With writing it's the first sentence, with painting the first wash, and no matter how many times I've done them, every time is the first. Luckily, my hands remember what my mind can't quite grasp, and then I'm off, my mind finally focused and at rest at the same time, wandering, searching, in a world of my own. Only for my hands, is the making of art something that has gone on forever. Everything else is new.
