Much care is taken to choose hand dyed and hand spun yarns. Fabrics are hand woven with the exception of the flour sack fabric. Each bowl is an expression of the materials used to create it.

Art has always been a part of my life. As a child given the chance I was always drawing. This lead to studying art from High School through college. While in school I won the Hallmark Art Contest on the state level and came in second on the national level. My studies included classical drawing to sculpting to painting. After college fiber became the medium I was most comfortable with. Weaving on large looms and then constructing a Navajo loom. This lead to wall hangings and more freely created objects. My passion now lies in the fiber bowls. There is a great deal of room for natural expression in the yarns, fabrics and colors used to create a bowl.
