European Series
These are mostly representational works based on photos I've taken around Europe -- primarily Croatia, Hungary and Germany.

Flowers and Trees
My work with nature. The most recent series is a technique combining acrylic washes and oil done in my studio in Budapest in Summer 2007. Also includes pencil, pastel and acrylic work.

Mexico
This is based on photos from my travels in Mexico.

Abstract
In these works, I'm sometimes using images as a reference point, and sometimes not. Some of the work is primitive, while in others I play with color and shape.

Work in Progress
Exactly what it says - there are several photos of a painting in various stages of development.

The Caucasus
Work from Armenia, Georgia and Baku

"Hi Leah: I thought I'd check in and see where in the world, and what in the world, you are doing. I hope you are well, and that you will let us know when your next visit to NWUSA will be. All is well - sort of, here. Your work is beautiful!"

I've recently moved from Budapest, where I finished a series entitled "Fragments of Budapest," paintings that attempt to capture the sometimes gritty, decaying grandeur of this Eastern European city. I've also started a new company, Art...
