About

Lutz Art Studio
Susan Hartnett Lutz has a BA in Fine Arts from Rosary College (now Dominican University,) River Forest, IL and a BFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, CA. She was an Editorial Artist for the Modesto Bee, an Artist-in-Residence at Yosemite Village in Yosemite National Park and is a talented instructor as well as painter. Recently, her painting, "Whimsy Moose," was included in Projekt 30's "Sanguine: The Temperament of Blood" internet show in June of 2009. Represented by Artists Haven Gallery, Ft. Lauderdale, FL in November 2009 and Amsterdam Whitney Gallery, New York-Chelsea, in March 2010, Susan is an up and coming contemporary artist. Her imaginative spirit and exquisite use of bright color demonstrate her sense of joy and playfulness. Her watercolor work is dreamlike and otherworldly. She is currently featured in Amsterdam Whitney's Fall 2010 issue of "Art Acquisitor," The Magazine For the Discerning Collector.
