 | | 'archaische Impressionen' (sth. like 'archaic impressions') is the most explicit one of my series regarding decay and death. So far it mostly shows birds and butterflies and I think it will stay this way...

 | | 'die Wälder' (the forests) is the most extensive series so far and was the beginning of my conceptual works. It shows a wide range of impressions from several forests, trees and details.

 | | The name 'himinbjörg' (himinbjorg) refers to northern European mythology and is the name of the god Heimdall's castle who guards the bridge called Bifrost which separates Midgard and Asgard. |

I'm working as a photographer and artist. My works are often conceptual and devided into series I constantly work on. The main concept of 'lux-et-pictura' is decay, death and recreation. In this regard my focus is on nature and its phenomena.
I also do lots of work not directly related to this conceptual background. My other interests as photographer are potraits, urban landscapes and architecture.
Besides my work as an artist I'm also a service provider and available for a wide range of photographical fields.

I was born in 1977 in Northern Germany and do live together with my wife in the beautiful countryside near the coast.
