| Mahri Shelton began painting early in life. Her mother, Linda Palmer, was a self- employed artist and painting was something they enjoyed doing together. Self taught and guided by her mother's early instruction and inspiration, Mahri began painting professionally and has sold and exhibited her paintings in businesses, coffee shops and the CAL gallery in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas.
Nature and the emotion it inspires is a central theme in most of Mahri's paintings.
Mahri is also a professional film and commercial actress in Charlotte, NC.
