My name is Marnie Smith. I am Cree/Sarcee/Metis. I was a foster child, an adopted child, and now I am a re-united child. In the past two years I have met my mother, my full blood sisters and my father. The journey has been painful, wonderful, full of answers and full of questions. Like the emergence of a butterfly from its cocoon, discovering a new existence, it was one full of hope too.
