Jamul, CA 91935 United States
| A San Diego California native, Marilyn has always been artistically inclined. She refined her natural gift by studying with several West Coast professionals, including Marty Pray-Stanard and Robert Landry in San Diego, Joyce Clark in Hawaii and Laguna Beach and Fritz Willis in Dana Point. Her special affection for animals is evident in her realistic renderings of wildlife.
"Painting wildlife is an exciting experience for me. As the picture evolves, so does a personality, and I feel a special kinship with the subject."
A former gallery owner, Marilyn has been represented by several galleries in and out of California. She has had numerous solo exhibitions and received awards in Regional, State and National competitions. Marilyn has qualified as a finalist in two "Artists Magazine" competitions. Two of her paintings are in the San Bernardino County Museum's Permanent Collection. Her paintings are included in private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
