It’s the people of Cuba that defined my experience. Not knowing what to expect, I studied the country’s early origins, history, politics, and the importance which the United States played and continues to play in Cuba over the past 70+ years.
Armed with common misconceptions, I boarded a charted flight from Miami to Habana (not Havana) this past March.

| Michael has a passion for both color and black and white photography. He prefers color when the warmth, richness and intensity of the colors bring the viewer into the life of the subject. Given the subject’s composition, lighting, contrast, the tonal range of the picture, at times a black and white image may best reach out and translate to the viewer what the true meaning of the subject from his perspective. The selection of color or B&W will be determined on how the subject may best be communicated to the viewer.
